Air Quality Index for Kids! - U.S. EPA and your state environmental agency measure pollution in the air. Then they use the Air Quality Index, or AQI, to tell the people about the air. An index can be a quick way to tell people how good or bad something is. The AQI uses colors, numbers and words to tell you about the air.

EPA's Environmental Explorers' Club - U.S. EPA's Web site for kids. Get ready to explore your environment and learn about neat things you can do to protect it.  There are games, pictures, stories and other fun things.

EPA's a student's guide to Global Climate Change

EPA's Kids Fish Web site -- A fun Web site that uses interactive stories and games to teach kids ages 8-12 about contaminants in fish and fish advisories.

Middle School Acid Rain Lesson Plan - The National Park Service Air Resources Division has developed a series of five activities for elementary and secondary schools (grades six through eight) that teach students about acid rain.
